About Us
I threw my leg over a motorcycle for the first time in 1965, and was hooked. Tuned my first race bike in 1968 and got hooked again. Went to work in the motorcycle industry in 1970 and was a partner in a Suzuki dealership by 1972. Raced professional flat track from 1972 to 1975 earning a top 100 number in the junior ranks before hanging up my steel shoe and starting LCS Racing in 1976.
From 1976 to 2004, LCS Racing earned the reputation of a quality high performance company winning championships in just about any, and every, kind of motorcycle, go-cart, Odyssey, mini sprint car, and boat racing in the United States and Europe. In 2004, I closed down the retail operations of LCS to the general public and relocated all the high performance equipment to the new race shop of Holigan Walters Racing. Oh, and the bonus was that there were about ten guys with cameras and microphones running around trying to catch you screwing something up!
I had my hands full as head of R&D, track maintenance, grounds keeper, law enforcement liaison, team manager, and king pin heavy in the reality based TV show
THE REALITY OF
SPEED. It was an experience I wouldn’t trade for. But as the 2006 season was coming to an end, I was ready for a break from the 30 plus weeks of five day weekends, and seven day work weeks from the past three years. So the decision was made to remove my equipment and leave the team. After taking a few months off and regrouping, I’ve ‘reloaded’ LCS Racing with all the latest and cool state-of-the-art technology, and now I’m ready for your business.
